Fiona Apple, where art thou?

It feels as though we've all been waiting for and anticipating Fiona Apple to come out with a new album...since, well, forever. Doesn't it? How many more times must I listen to 'Tidal' and 'When the pawn hits.....' just to get my Fiona Apple fix!

Ah, yes, another eight more days!!! I'm bursting with excitement, as you should be, if you're a fan of Fiona Apple. The long-awaited album 'Extraordinary Machine' will be out in stores October 4th, and yes, we cannot wait. Although, most people, including myself, were under the impression that the record label did not shelve the album out of fears that it wasn't commericial enough. That, according to Fiona Apple, isn't the truth behind it.

She shelved the album herself and quit her recording sessions altogether. "So where everybody thinks [Epic] shelved the album, that is actually when I just said, 'I quit, " The good news, of course, is that the long-awaited album is only four days..or less, if you maniacs wanna run to itunes and download some [or all] songs. In the October 6 issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Fiona Apple gets 4 stars..golden stars, if you ask me. :)
