Kate Moss Gets Caught Using Cocaine. Is Fame the Cause of her Addiction?

Last week, Kate Moss was taped, by Mirror Today during an investigation, while snorting lines of cocaine during a night of fun with friend/lover Pete Doherty. In a matter of seconds she sniffed several times. In addition, the Mirror stated that she prepared 20 lines within 40 minutes. Unfortunately, this action has caused her to lose her contract with H & M that was worth 7.2 million dollars. This shows the catch 22 of fame. At age 14, fame brought Kate Moss millions and millions of dollars and now the price of fame has not only brought her embarrassment, but it has cost her millions of dollars.

The high glamorous life of the fashion industry brings this dark side that seems to me is hard to avoid, if you don't have strong values. I'm certainly not surprised in her experience in drugs, since she did check herself into The Priory rehab in 1998. However, I am surprised at her excess amount of use, which proves that she is practised user. It's obvious Kate Moss never stopped using cocaine. She's a mother of a two year old baby girl, and this only shows how addicted she is. If being a mother doesn't inspire her to stop using drugs, then she's in need of help.

I don't entirely blame fame for the cause of her addiction; however, fame has given her many more choices that a regular Jane wouldn't come accross. A lifestyle full of glamour, high amount of money and lots of freedom can eventually cause a person with a weak mind to take their lives for granted. There's a lot of negative to fame, and if you're not a strong person, it can easily transform you into someone you would have probably not even imagined you would become. Scary thought? Well it's not to feel unsure, but fame can also be exciting. I think everyone has probably imagined themselves famous at least once in their life. Why? Probably, because fame reflects power, which ultimately brings respect from many people. Who doesn't like power and respect? At the same time, being in the eye of the press can make you lose respect a lot faster than a regular Jane.

Fame is a fantasy lifestyle that can easily destroy people's life, as well as bring them filthy rich. Ultimately what's important, either if you're a plain Jane or a celebrity, is to keep your balance. Staying focus and not letting any bad energy or people with drama interfere your daily choices. For this case, Kate Moss wasn't using cocaine alone. She was with Pete Doherty, a former crack, cocaine, and heroin user.

Keep positive people in your life and the difference will be reflected. Kate Moss is only 31 years old, she has plenty of time to do productive projects, maybe this is the "big sign" that she needed to experience to be able to begin her venture out of that dark hole.
