The latest addiction.

The latest addiction.

Forget exchanging phone-numbers, email, or even your screen-name. Nowadays, it's all about myspace and that is no joke and I do not exaggerate when I say that- YOU'RE ADDICTED TO MYSPACE!

"Hey, well, I really enjoyed talking to you."

"Me too. It was nice." [insert cheesy smile here]

"Cool, cool. Glad we both enjoyed ourselves. So, um...mind if I call you sometime?"

"Actually, do you have myspace?"

"Heck yeah, I do. Why, do you?"

"Of course."

"SWEET. That's awesome. Oh man, I love myspace. I have all these pictures up of me looking really trashed at parties or of like, my friends and I just looking totally hot at the I/O lounge."

"Same here! Oh, wow..you have to look me up."

Myspace is more of a dating service (than an actually dating service) and people can really get out of hand, when it comes to posting up pictures of themselves and friends. That, and its a really good way to promote your music if you're in a band.

It is amazing though, it really is. Last night I was at a birthday party where, the topic of conversation was 'myspace'..(the age group was from 18-30) it seemed to be the topic that we all jumped back on and want to talk endlessly about how everyone is on it, and how you located an old classmate, and/or how your family recently found out that you're gay due to your thirteen-year old cousin coming across your profile on myspace. It is insane. It's cool, sure, but totally overrated, in my opinion, and addictive. What's my point? I mean, what is my real point here? Be careful what you say or show on your myspace profile because, like I said, EVERYONE is a myspace-lover, and a co-worker or even family member is likely to discover and learn a couple of things about you, things that you might not want them to know...no thanks to your profile on myspace.

PS::: Tom is not only a genius but a rich little booger.
