Wilma, We Don't Need You!
Just when we want to forget about Hurricane season, another name comes up in the weather forecast. Wilma has gained force and today it has officially become a hurricane. The winds are near 75mph, and it's supposed to increase to 111mph on thursday, which will make Wilma a category 3 hurricane.
Wilma is supposed to bring up to 6 inches of rain in the Cayman Islands, southeastern Cuba, Honduras, Haiti and Jamaica. In addition, it can be a threat to Florida by the weekend. There's still plenty of time for knowing any specifics of Florida locations. Hopefully it changes its route, we don't need a number 8 hurricane this season. Not to mention, another weekend of stir craziness.
We still have until November 30th for hurricane season to end. I'll be checking my calendar daily.
