Competition Between Two Brothers!
Right before the World War II, two brothers (Adolph Dassler & Rudolph Dassler) in Germany opens a small workshop manufacturing shoes in a small town.
Right after the WWII, Adolph wanted seperate and open his own shoe manufacturing workshop. Rudolph disagrees and warns his brother about how small the town is, so are the shoe demands. Rudolph insisted Adolph not to open a new workshop which would bankrupt both workshops because of low demands on shoes.
They both went seperate ways and started a big competition between them. In the mean time they did not talk to eachother. After many years, their competition exceeded the borders of the small town. Adolph died in 1978 when he has not spoken to his borther Rudolph in 29 years.
Today both companies have their head-quarters in small German town Herzogenerauch.
Name of Adolph Dassler's shoe company is ADIDAS, and Rudolph's is PUMA.
