Extremely Unique: Animusic
In my own words, "Wow this new type of Anime is Freaking Awesome!"
What is ANIMUSIC?
It puts digitized music to the anime instruments and are in sychronized beats and notes with fantastic sights, dreamy colors that capture you into the source, and sounds that are full of strings, beats, bells, blows, and keys.... it's something you need to see to yourself. These dvd's of Animusic take three years to create with a slightly smaller crew than an anime movie. It provides a unique taste of music from another level. It's the first virtual concert of its kind. "Pipe Dream" is just one of the concerts that are said to be a favorite of many who have seen the concerts in their dvds. I've seen a few of the concerts already on the local public television and let me tell you I would get this for myself or as a present for someone I know is inclined musically and would enjoy and appreciate this innovative presentation of music from an out of this world experience. It's unpredictable, a slightly hallucinating way to enjoy music that is digitally enhanced with the greatest sounds.
I saw it on WTTW Chicago and this what they said:
Cutting edge computer animation and a diverse collection of modern musical grooves and soundscapes combine in a "virtual concert." Using custom developed, state-of-the-art software technology, director Wayne Lytle invents self-playing graphical instruments, perfectly synchronized to the digitally created soundtrack. ANIMUSIC draws you in its reality like no place you have ever been - a new dimension of sight and sound. From the robotic laser-precision of "Future Retro" and rapid-fire ballbearings of "Pipe Dream" to the serene acoustic beauty of "Aqua Harp, " each animation is an intricate melding of music and visuals.
