Ipod is my Key to Isolation...
Yeah, thank goodness I'm carrying my ipod in my purse. Some people have the loudest mouths when their using their cell phones. Do they care? Do they notice it's rude and inconsiderate? So here I am in the computer lab trying to focus and there's a girl that hasn't stopped talking on her cell phone-oh wait she might finally hang up-nevermind... she's still talking. It's not even anything exciting.
Hey if you want to be loud, at least entertain me, don't bore me, or make me feel like I need to yank your phone and run out of the room. I'm sure you've felt like that, I know you have...many times. She says "I'm trying not to drink coffee because it gives me stomach pain, " does she realize I'm next to her and there's about twenty other people in the room. The next topic was "eye twitching, " yeah that's right. She says, "Oh, and last week I had a constant eye twitch and my friend was looking at me strangely, now this week stomach pains, funny huh...." Time for me to hit the play button.
I don't care and I love my ipod! I no longer hear her. It's so genius how you can isolate yourself from certain situations, like loud people.
