Joey Llanos was truly on of the only three resident deejays at the Paradise Garage. After the closing of the Garage in 87, Joey partnered with Richard Vasquez to carry on it's tradition in the space that had been The Loft and was known as The Choice. Together they hosted such legendary guest deejays as Larry Levan, Frankie Knuckles, David Morales, Louie Vega, Robert Owens, Disciple, and many other greats. Here they re-unite to celebrate with some of this generation's best talent who are flavored by this 30 year tradition of music for a New York style dance party. A-Bar is a new venue with that nice warm comfortable underground feeling, and the sound system has been fully upgraded for the occassion.
