Need Energy?
I recently found this little sheet asking "Need Energy?" And it shows 11 Ways to Find your Energy so I thought you might like to know as much as I did so here it goes:
11 Ways to Find Your Energy
1. Stretch to sleep easily - You can quiet your mind, release muscle tension and beat anxiety with a few stretches.
2. Pour a bowl of Bran - Eating a morning meal rich in firber may make you more alert during the day.
3. Chat with a co-worker - Studies have shown that people who sit at their desk all day long are more tired than co-workers who chat occasionally.
4. Drink water before you're thirsty - Doctors have found that many people who complain of fatigue ar actually dehydrated.
5. Pack a power lunch - Hefty meals loaded with carbohydrates are proven energy sappers.
6. Brew a mug of Green Tea- Better for you and also contains theanine, a compaound that has stress-reducing effects on your brain.
7. Soak up a little sun - Light stimulates neurotransimitters in your brain, which improve your mood and increase motivation.
8. Pop a peppermint - Freshens your breath and stimulates your nerves due to the oils from the peppermint plant.
9. Take a belly breath - Proper breathing helps quiet the body - abodomen should expand during inhalation to allow lungs to expand.
10. Pup iron for 10 minutes - Ercercise boosts energy, but who has time? Make time!
11. Jot in a journal - At the end of a long , stressful day take 15 minutes and write down your thoughts. This will help you let go of nagging negative thoughts.
