Symphony & Couture on October 13, 2006

AJAX proudly invites you to join us as “Friends of the New World Symphony” kicks off for another great year! “Friends” is the premiere and most prestigious cultural group in Miami, and its events have been prominently featured in numerous magazines, newspapers and on television.

Members of this young and hip group support the New World Symphony. They gathers at cool ‘hot spots’ for socializing, networking and uber-modern performances by New World fellows (think the Symphony playing Thievery Corp, Radiohead, the Beatles, Hip Hop and Indie Rock.

The cost to become a Friend is $250 for the entire year of events (all free admission as a member).

If you join now, you’ll attend with a guest “Symphony & Couture” on October 13 (during Funksion Fashion Week) at Santo Restaurant on Lincoln Road, featuring an inspired private performance by NWS fellows during a Couture Fashion Show, dancing and an open bar and hors d’ oeuvres.

The second Friends event is “The Cabana Lounge” on November 11, outside of IDEA on the Miami River with an evening of lounge and classical music under the stars. The NWS Fellows will then present “Indie Rock on the Bay” on Saturday, December 16 at the Flamingo Tower on South Beach.

There will be a total of 7-8 events this season. Your membership will permit you to attend Friends New York events.
