I wish I was in Miami - "Go Bears!!!"

I wish I was in Miami - "Go Bears!!!"

It's 9 degrees in Chicago, everyone is warm connecting to one thing for sure and it's Blue and Orange and starts with a B. Yep, it's "Da Bears!!!"

Normally it takes 26 hours to drive from Chicago to Miami but it took some Bear fanatics almost 40 hours because they went in a bus that was not in shape! How did they get there though? "With Faith of the Bears!!!" is what one of the drivers said. This is how much they are loved. I used to go out to clubs every day of the week in 2004 and I'll tell you one thing, Sunday's was for sure at the Legg Room on Division and State. There you could always find the Bears! Jerry Azuma bought me a drink before. Too bad he retired and didn't get to play this year with the fellas, but you know what? Who cares! Once a Bear always a Bear...even the Bears of 85 are always in our thoughts when we win a game.

My mom used to always say, "Mua rai I Bear mun ja chana na?~" That was in Thai, and it means when are the Bears going to win...ever since 85 and 86 till now, this has always been what we have been waiting for! Even people from San Diego flew to Cheer for the Bears, and a Green Bay fan who is usually our rival is cheering for us!

This week the Bronze Lion statues in front of the Art Institute of Michigan Avenue were fitted with Giant Bears Helmets. The temperature was so cold during that time, much colder than 9 degrees like now, and it just broke because it wasn't a flexible fit. They customized it and "Voila!" Now it fits so snug and Sweet! They're as sweet and charming as "Sweetness" a.k.a. Walter Payton #34 of the Superbowl Championship '85 Bears.

Besides going to see one person I am glad to call a friend, Korat. . .

Of course I want to be in Miami for, "Da Bears!"

This is one special Superbowl XLI also because two black men are coaching for the first time making history.

My mom likes #54 Urlacher. . . . In Chicago, we love and hate Rex Grossman depending on his plays but regardless of everything in the past we're cheering them all the way because we're proud of them.

Last week when we beat The New Orlean Saints we made a new drink named Rex on the Beach :) If you ever come to Chicago, you're going to have to have one to celebrate our win!

This is the one time Chicago is united during a sports event. If this was baseball, this city is divided no hands down! I'm a White Sox fan aswell because I am from the southside. There's no need to mention the other baseball team to the north but besides the Bulls, it's the Bears that brings us together!!!
