Proactive vs. Accutane: Side EffectsUPDATE: PROACTIVE IS GOOD BUT AFTER YOU STOP USING IT IT ALL COMES BACK. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW I STARTED USING MURAD'S ACNE COMPLEX AND THIS WORKS WONDERS. NOW I WONDER IF I STOP USING IT IF IT WILL COME BACK TOO.
Proactive and Accutane are both acne treating medicine. Proactive is a 3-step system and Accutane is an oral drug that should be taken the complete 5 months. Do not stop the drug or it will reoccur and be your worst nightmare. If you do not have to take Accutane, please avoid it because you will go through a series of life changing mood swings that may end a life.
Accutane is something not to be reckoned with unless you are sure there is no other alternative. Another alternative I would suggest is ProActive. They both need a month to start working properly.
Accutane causes side effects:
- deformation of the fetus (if you get pregnant)
- miscarriages (you should not be pregant anyway)
- suicide attempts
- severe mood swings
Proactive just causes you to look like you have mountains on your face for a month! Just bear with it! It's worth it.
In the long run ProActive normally charges you about $47 a month continuously but it's better for your health.
Many suicides and violence has occured from Accutane. Take it from someone who knows first hand. The reprecussions are not worth it. You can loose someone you love forever because of Accutane and if you do not have a strong support system or self-esteem. This drug makes the strong, weak, and the weak, strong meaning that people who think they can handle it will start crying and hurting others, and the people who are usually weak minded, strong enough in the worst way to hurt themselves.
PLEASE search Accutane for confirmation of what I am saying and order Proactive for someone who needs clearer skin from acne.
Take it for me, I regret taking Accutane for the side effects it had upon me and my relationships. Proactive is the less invasive way to go about clearing skin and it is just as effect. Then again how effective is Accutane if one ends their life?
