Island Shore of Realizations

Island Shore of Realizations

There was once an island full of many characters called Happiness, Love, Sadness, Knowledge, who lived together day in day out on a big Island.

One day an unexpected announcement came saying, "The Island is going to sink and you must all find your way before you drown. Each one of those characters found a boat in order to escape. All got on except Love which said, "I'm going to stay on this Island I Love." Just then, towards the final moments, Love decided, "Wait, somebody help me, I'm Love and I don't want to drown!"

Love turned to Wealth and said, "Can I get on the extra boat? Wealth turned around and said, "No, that boat is filled with too many riches, if you got on, you would only help sink all of my luxury."

Love saw Selfishness and asked, will you help me? Selfishness said, "no you're already wet and you're only going to make me wet too."

Love turned to Sadness and said "What about you? Can you help me?" Sadness without turning his head said, "No, I'm too sad, I want to stay by myself, let me be alone."

Love looked around and saw Happiness, but Happiness was too extreme without sensibility, too busy being happy, she could not hear Love asking for her help.

Out of nowhere, an old woman came by and said "Come here, I'll help you." As Love quickly climbed aboard her boat, Love was so grateful. Love was so thankful as he reached the shore with the old woman, he was so excited he forgot to ask the old woman her name. Before long after they reached ashore, she passed on and disappeared.

He wanted to know her name so he turned to Knowledge and asked Knowledge, "Who was that lady?" Knowledge replied "Her name was Time."

Moral of the Story:

"Only Time Helps You Understand How Much Or Love really exists as a Whole Picture."
